Dear Members,
Due to popular demand we are offering another First Aid Course to members, members’ family and staff. The Institution of Training and Further Education will be the Provider of the First Aid Course.
COURSE: Level 2 Provide First Aid (HLTAID003)
COST: $25.00 per person
This 1 day face to face training will cover the following and more:
– Responding to an unconscious person
– Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to an adult, child and infant
– Understanding the basic principles of using the Automatic External Defibrillation (AED) machine we have here at the UHC office.
This nationally accredited course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other First Aiders until emergency qualified help arrives at the scene of the accident.
Participants will need to have a USI and will also need to take a pre-course test before the day.
Morning tea, light lunch and afternoon tea will be provided for participants.
We can have up to 20 people participate. Places are limited so don’t be shy and register your interest today!!!

UHC is offering a FREE Home Maintenance Workshop for members interested in learning more about DIY Home Maintenance.
Join Penelope Graham (UHC Trades-person) for HANDS ON demonstrations on the following items:
- Changing light bulbs
- Cleaning split system filters (we can use the downstairs meeting room split system to give a demo)
- Fixing hinges on doors/cupboards/drawers
- Adjusting door latch and strike
- Stop squeaking doors
- Tightening toilet seats
- Changing drill bits on power drills
- What types of screws and bolts to use for different jobs
- And more …
