The session will provide information to tenants to better understand their energy bills. This will be of particular interest to those with solar panels.
Ana from Australian Energy Foundation (AEF) will provide information on energy bills and also provide information on Powerpal as well as the one-off $250 payment from State Government (Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning) the $250 Power Saving Bonus for eligible concession card holders. Eligible card holders are:
•All benefits under the Pensioner Concession cards;
•JobSeeker, Youth Allowance, Austudy and Abstudy payments under the Health Care card
•Department of Veterans Affairs Pensioner Concession or DVA Gold card
Aside from providing details on who can apply for $250 grant Ana will also provide her details for tenants to contact her directly for further assistance.

Join the LSC Social Club for a soy wax melts making session at the Co-op’s office.
Class Bento will be preseneting this workshop to show participants how to make beautifully scented soy wax melts to take home with to use in a oil burner freshen up the home.
Particpants will need to bring along a pan with a little water in it with a bowl on top ready for the session. All other materials are provided.

Join the LSC Social Club and our Chairperson, Paris for a nutritional cooking session at the Co-op’s office.
The menu for the day:
- Thai pumpkin soup
- Zucchini and halloumi fritters
- Blueberry and lemon ricotta cake
All attendees will take home with them a pack with the ingredients required to recreate the menu at home.
